Yamakuni River Meeting

A workshop project to consider the use of the riverbed along the Yamakuni River. I facilitated one of the groups. Participants included local residents, government officials, and architectural consultants involved in the design of the riverbed. They were divided into six groups in total, and each group set its own theme, such as “camping/outdoor activities” or “marché,” and came up with ideas for the utilization of the riverbed. The theme of the group I was in charge of was “Learning and Playing by the River with Children,” and the members presented their ideas for designing inclusive playground equipment that utilizes the slope of the embankment.
