Body Copy and Content Writing for the Corporate Website of Nishi-Nihon Doboku Co., Ltd.

I wrote the body copy, business description, and other content for the corporate website renewal for Nishi-Nippon Doboku Co., Ltd., a general constructor located in Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture.

The renewal was part of a multi-year branding project led by the design firm UMA/design farm. I developed the body copy in line with the company’s new slogan, “いつも力になる いつか力になる (Always there to support you, becoming your strength one day)” which was created as part of the project. They reflects the company’s raison d’etre: ‘We want to be a company that supports the foundations of people’s lives and supports society in times of emergency.’

As part of a long-term business strategy review, the company has been working to enhance its brand image and recognition within the local community. However, when you think of a company in fields such as quarrying, civil engineering, and construction, you may think of inorganic materials? Therefore, I sought to express a more organic, approachable, and sincere tone in the writing, reflecting my impressions from engaging with the company and its people.

For the business description, I interviewed the persons in charge of each business and organized them in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. In addition to this, I was in charge of editing and writing content for the special website of their newly launched business, and body copy for newspaper advertisements.
