Body Copy and Content Writing for the Corporate Website of Nishi Nihon Doboku Co. Ltd.

I wrote the body copy, business description, and other aspects of the corporate website renewal for Nishinippon Doboku, a general constructor located in Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture.
The web renewal was part of a branding project, spanning several years, with the design firm UMA/design farm. I created the body copy to match the company’s new slogan,’いつも力になる いつか力になる(Any day to be of your help, some day to be of your help)’ which was created as part of the project. It reflects the company’s raison d’etre: ‘We want to be a company that supports the foundations of people’s lives and supports society in times of emergency.’
In the course of the process where the company reviews its long-term business plan, they also focus on improving its brand awareness and building a good image in the community and the prefecture. However, when you think of a company in the business of quarrying, civil engineering, and construction, you may think of inorganic materials? Therefore, I considered adding an organic, friendly, sincere text style; what I felt when I met the company and its employees. For the business description, I interviewed the persons in charge of each business and organized them in a concise and easy-to-understand manner. In addition to this, I was in charge of editing and writing content for the special website of their newly launched business, and body copy for newspaper advertisements.
